Dr. Yung Jun Cho was born and raised in Incheon, South Korea. He is a New York and Pennsylvania Licensed Acupuncturist and is National Board-Certified by NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). He has completed his diplomacy at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montclair, NJ for Acupuncture as well as Herbs in Eastern Medicine.
He has completed in-depth studies on constitutional medicine and the treatment of chronic disease under Korean Four Needle technique Aka Sa Am Chim or Acupuncture (Traditional Korean Style Acupuncture). He also had participated in Master Kim's One Needle Technique (Modern Korean Style Acupuncture) and worked closely with Master Kim to treat many patients. His specialized tool with Magnetic Acupuncture plays a great role with patients that are trypanophobia(extreme fear or aversion to blood or needles), and patients that have underlining medical conditions that take warfarin or heparin (blood thinner). With a wealth of experience in the treatment of chronic disease, anxiety, menopause, allergies, mental health disorders, insomnia, and digestive disorder/diseases, he is skilled at creating custom protocols to meet each patient's needs with both Acupuncture and Eastern Herbal Medicine. Brought up as young athlete as national junior team in weightlifting and also having a history of being an instructor for swimming- he is also highly adept at treating conditions of the musculoskeletal pains, injuries and any other pain reliefs due to intensive training of sports.
