Moxibustion Treatment
Moxibustion is a technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing. The purpose of Moxibustion is to strengthen the blood, warm up the body to stimulate the flow of Qi (energy) by counteracting cold and dampness in the body. This safe, non-invasive technique may be used alone but it is generally used in conjunction with Acupuncture treatment. |
Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy is used to relieve pain or to promote blood circulation that is clogged or associated with stiff muscles. A cup is simply placed onto specific points on your body and then use suction to draw your skin up into the cup. It simply draws fresh blood to that area of your body, which facilitates the cleansing and strengthening of your Qi (energy). |
Auricular Acupuncture
Traditional Acupuncture points done only to the ears (auricular points) that corresponds to every organ, hormone, or system in the body. This type of acupuncture is especially effective for psycho-emotional disorders such as addition or compulsive behaviors. Auricular Acupuncture provides a great sense of comfort, relaxation and a renewed sense of well-being. |
Magnetic Acupuncture
This is highly recommended for patients with Trypanophobia (extreme fear or aversion to blood or needles), and patients who have underlining medical conditions that taking warfarin or heparin (blood thinner). Basically Magnetic Acupuncture works the same as Traditional Acupuncture where the magnet is placed on the same acupuncture point of your body that a needle would be placed. |
Electro Acupuncture
Electro Acupuncture is when it uses electricity to enhance the benefits of the Acupuncture treatment. Like traditional Acupuncture, electro acupuncture uses needles to be placed in the same spot. Then a small electrode is attached to the needles – which stimulates the points and circulate the Qi (the energy) and Blood Flow. |
